Experts say that we should include happy conversations during meal time. When we are happy during meal times, it encourages our stomach to produce appropriate amount of acid to help in the digestion of the food. And it helps in the proper digestion and absortion of the body from the food. When we are upset, the stomach may produce a small amount of gastric acid or too much of it.
Also, there are some of us that are very fond of eating bedtime snacks. But what we do not know is that it causes the secretion of gastric acid at night. When eating, better do it slowly, chew your food at least 15 times. A person who eats fast and does not chew his or her food well is making their stomach work hard. Overeating can make the stomach stretch to an extent that will result to pain.
